UN: Israel Break The Rules of War
NEW YORK – Israel commits war crimes by making gratuitous attacks against civilians, firing phosphorus bombs, and torture when attacking Gaza eight months ago. The fact that the official results of the investigation the United Nations yesterday released Tuesday and written in a report 575 pages thick. UN investigators also found the Hamas war crimes by firing rockets targeted Israeli civilians.
But unfortunately the report did not condemn the Israeli crimes in the conflict, which has killed 1400 Palestinians and 13 Israelis during the 22 day battle.
“Israeli Operation planned carefully in all their stages, and disproportionate attacks designed to torture, humiliate, and terrorize the civilian population,” say the report, which quoted from the Telegraph, Wednesday (16/9/2009).
B’Tselem, a group of defenders of human rights independent of Israel, last week said that 733 Palestinian civilians, including 252 children under the age of 16 years, died in a gratuitous invasion of Israel. However, these figures rejected by Israel.
UN team consisting of four men, led by Richard Goldstone, a former South African judge, said there was insufficient evidence to declare Israel had violated several rules regulating interansional war.

While Israel is the focus of most criticism, legal experts agree Hamas, an Islamic group classified by the United States and Europe as terrorist, violates international law.
